前回に引き続き、PCM手法を用いて考案したプロジェクトについてご紹介させていただきます。

【路面電車を活用した京都市におけるオーバーツーリズムの改善】
今回、中心問題を「オーバーツーリズムにより京都市民が生活しにくさを感じている」ことに設定しました。この問題の原因は、交通や店の混雑、ゴミ問題、生活コストの高まり、騒音問題などが挙げられましたが、京都市民が最も悩まされているのは交通の混雑であると推定しました。そのため、私たちは交通の混雑を緩和していくことで中心問題の解決を目指そうと考えました。
そこで「路面電車復活大作戦」を提案しました。市バスの慢性的な遅延や不十分な交通網を改善することを目的とし、過去に存在していた路面電車を復活させるプロジェクトです。
また同時に、トランジットモール(自家用自動車の通行を制限し、バスや路面電車などの公共交通機関のみが優先的に通行できる道路)の設置、アプリを用いた観光客の徒歩による観光の促進、観光客のバス利用運賃の値上げといった政策も展開します。
これらの実施により、交通手段が分散され持続可能な観光が可能となり、バスの過度な利用者が減少し、地域住民と観光客が快適に過ごせるようになることが期待されます。

Continueing from the last post, we would like to introduce other group's project that proposed by using PCM method.

【Improving overtourism in Kyoto City using a tram】
This time, we have set the main issue as "Kyoto citizens are finding it difficult to live due to overtourism." The causes of this problem include traffic and store congestion, garbage problems, rising living costs, and noise problems, but it is estimated that traffic congestion is what Kyoto citizens are most troubled by.
Therefore, we decided to aim to solve the core problem by alleviating traffic congestion.
Therefore, we proposed the "Tram Revival Strategy." This is a project to revive the streetcar system that existed in the past, with the aim of improving the chronic delays of city buses and the inadequate transportation network.
At the same time, we are also installing transit malls (roads where private cars are restricted and only public transportation such as buses and trams can travel preferentially), promoting sightseeing on foot by tourists using apps, and encouraging tourists to travel on foot. We will also implement policies such as increasing bus fares.
It is expected that these implementations will enable sustainable tourism by dispersing transportation methods, reduce excessive bus use, and provide a more comfortable experience for local residents and tourists.
