④Motto:"Failure teaches success"
When I was in high school, I had a big setback. When I was a junior high school student, I had many leadership experiences such as group leader and sports festival executive committee in class. On the other hand, outside of school, I went to cram school and did three activities like playing the piano. At that time, I was able to put all my effort into my studies and lessons. However, after I entered high school, I started to get sick as a result of trying to do the same thing. Furthermore, I had a lot of stress by myself because I had no one to talk to about my troubles. I thought I should stop doing something, so I quit club and other activities. Instead, I focused on studies and stabilizing my physical condition. From this experience, I learned to prioritize what to do and to talk to someone about my worries. Now, I haven't made the same mistake after I had a setback when I was in high school. I believe that even if I fail at something, I can turn them into successes by following my actions.
⑤Goals through the seminar
Through the seminar, I would like to improve my ability to express my opinion concisely. My weak points are that I tend to say what I'm thinking right away and talk incoherently. As a result, I sometimes cannot tell others well. In Konishi seminar activities, I often have opportunities to express my own opinions, so I would like to practice communicating clearly and concisely to others. When I have a presentation, I ask for advice from our seminar students and act so that I can make use of it at the next opportunity.
⑥Dream for the future
My future dream is to become a high school English teacher. It all started with my math teacher when I was in the first year of high school. I was impressed to see him openly talk about his failures. It was very cool to see him telling them in a funny way, not in a serious way. Seeing him like that, I began to think that I wanted to be a person who could share my own experiences with my students and give them courage, and I am aiming to become a teacher.
In the next article, we will introduce Amane Nakamura who is a rare person who works part-time as a shrine maiden.
Thank you for reading!
