小西ゼミ3年生の寺東結実と申します。
今回私は、大学3年間で養った力について話します。
私が3年間で養ってきた力は、主体的に行動する力です。大学1,2年生の時期は、あらかじめ用意された企画に参加していましたが、大学3年生では、リーダーとなりプロジェクトを立ち上げ、仲間を集めてチャレンジすることができました。その際「プロジェクトを通して創りあげたい未来」を市議会議員や商工会、市役所に話して、賛同し応援していただきました。また、自分たちで市内の企業3社にアポイントを取って概要の説明をしに行きました。このような取り組みをすることができたのは、大学1,2年生のときに大学や自治体、NPOが主催するプロジェクトを経験していたからです。しかし今回のプロジェクトは、企業3社から許諾をいただくことができず、失敗に終わりました。今振り返って考えると、相手のニーズを取り込めていなかったことが失敗の一因だったのではないかと反省しています。大学4年生では、これらの経験を活かして、現在所属しているCAMP×US、Resident Assistant、消防団で、行動力を発揮しチャレンジしていきたいです。

My name is Yumi Terahigashi, a third-year student at Konishi seminar.
The skills I have developed over the past three years are the ability to act independently. When I was in my 1st and 2nd year of university, I participated in projects that had been prepared in advance. When I was in my 3rd year of university, I became a leader, launched a project, and gathered my friends to take on the challenge. I talked about “the future we wanted to create through the project" and received supports from a city council member, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and city hall. We also made our own appointments with three companies in the city to speak directly. I think I was able to take on these initiatives because of my experience with projects organized by universities, local governments, and NPO during my first and second year of university. As a result of the project I launched, I was unable to obtain permission from three companies, and it ended in failure. Looking back now, I reflect that one of the reasons for the failure was that we were not able to incorporate the needs of the other party. Next year, I would like to make use of these experiences to demonstrate ability to take action and take on challenges in CAMPxUS, Resident Assistant, and the fire brigade, to which I am a member.
