本日も、前回に引き続き、2023年度3回生の自己紹介をさせていただきます！

①名前：坂本 凜
②出身地：神奈川県
③趣味：食べること
④座右の銘：ローマは一日にして成らず
これは私が高校一年生の頃、担任の先生に教えていただいた言葉です。当時は特進クラスに所属しており、大きなテストに向けて、春休み期間中であっても毎日学校に通い、勉強をしていました。先生もその努力には気づいていてくれていたものの、テストの結果は29点で、自分の努力が結果に結びつかず、非常に落ち込んでいました。そのテストの答案用紙に書かれていた言葉こそが「ローマは一日にして成らず」です。その横には、「春休み期間の努力は本物であるが、目に見える結果はすぐに出るものではない。諦めずに努力を続ければ、必ず結果は出る。」と書かれていました。努力しても結果が出ず、投げ出したくなった瞬間もありましたが、この言葉が努力はすぐに結果に結びつくものでなくても、それを達成するためには絶えず努力をすることが大切だということを教えてくれたと思っています。今でも苦しい状況に陥った際にはこの言葉を思い出し、自分を鼓舞しています。
⑤ゼミを通しての目標：
私の掲げた目標は二つあります。一つ目は、視野を広く持つことです。私は頭が固く、目の前にあることだけに熱中してしまい、取り組むべき物事に優先順位をつけられなくなってしまうことがあります。その原因として、視野が狭いことが挙げられると考えています。それと同時に、一辺倒な考え方をしてしまう傾向もあるため、多様な意見を持つ小西ゼミ生との交流を行う中で、視野を広げ、そして柔軟な思考ができるようになりたいと考えています。
二つ目は、言語化能力を向上させることです。私は日頃から友人との会話の中でも、自分の言いたいことをうまく説明できないことが多々あります。この弱点を克服するためにも、多くのディスカッションと、その度に行うフィードバックなどを積極的に行っていきたいと考えています。
⑥将来の夢：
私の将来の夢は、挑戦し続けることのできる人間になることです。今後就職や結婚、妊娠、出産などを通して、挑戦することに対するハードルがどんどん上がっていくと考えています。ですが、そのような環境でも、自分のワクワクすることに対して積極的に挑戦し、自分を成長させていきたいと思っています。漠然とした目標ではありますが、これが私の目指す将来像です。
次回の記事では、総合政策学部独自プログラムGCapを履修したり、DJをしているというカッコよさをもつ坂本優心についてご紹介します。

I’m Manaka Yamaguchi, a third-year student who is in charge of blogging at Konishi seminar.
Today, we continuingly introduce the third-year seminar students of this year.
① Name : Rin Sakamoto
② Hometown : Kanagawa prefecture
③ Hobbies ：Enojoying good meals
④ Motto : Rome was not built in a day.
These words were given by my homeroom teacher when I was 16 years old. I was in advanced class at the time and went to school every day during spring vacation to study for a big test. Although my teacher was aware of my efforts, I scored 29 points out of 100 in the test. As my efforts did not lead to results, I was very depressed. The words written on the answer sheet for the test were “Rome was not written in a day.” Besides it was written, “The efforts you put in during the spring vacation is real, but the visible results are not immediate. If you don’t give up and keep trying, you will see results.” There were moments when I wanted to give up because of the lack of results despite my efforts. However, I believe these words taught me that while hard work does not always lead to immediate results, it is important to continually strive to achieve them. Even now, when I am in a difficult situation, I remember these words and inspire myself.
⑤ Goals through the seminar：
I have two goals. The first is keeping a broad perspective. I am a hard-headed person, and sometimes I get so absorbed in just what is in front of me that I fail to prioritize the things I need to work on. I think that one of the reasons for this is that I have a narrow perspective. I also have a tendency to think in a one-sided way, so I would like to broaden my perspectives and become a more flexible thinker through interaction with Konishi Seminar students who have diverse opinions.
Second, I would like to improve my language skills. In my daily conversation with friends, there are many situations with friends in which I am unable to explain what I want to say. In order to overcome this weakness, I would like to actively engage in many discussions and give feedback each time I have a discussion.
⑥ Dream in the future ：
My dream in the future is to be a person who keeps trying. I believe that the hurdles to taking on new challenges will continue to rise as I find a job, get married, become pregnant, and have children. However, even in such an environment, I would like to actively challenge what excites me and grows as a person without being afraid of change. There are vague goals, but this is my vision of the future.
In the next article, we will introduce Yushin Sakamoto, who takes part in GCap, a program unique to the Faculty of Policy Management, and is also a DJ.
