本日も、前回に引き続き、2023年度3回生の自己紹介をさせていただきます！

①名前：寺田小華
②出身地：大阪府
③趣味：バスケットボール、旅行
④座右の銘：どんな状況でもやれることをやる。それを徹底することが大事。
これは私が高校生の時の、部活動の顧問の言葉です。私は公立高校出身のため、公式戦で勝ち進めば、一人一人のレベルでは勝つことができないような私立の強豪校を倒さなければいけない局面が多々ありました。そんな時に顧問の先生が私たちにこの言葉をかけてくれていました。この言葉は、毎日何時間も練習している私立高校に勝つためには、相手を見て恐れるのではなく、まずは目の前にある自分たちができることを徹底してやることが大事だということを教えてくれました。どんなに強豪校でも、私たちが何もできなくなるということはなく、やれることはあり、それを徹底することで自然と勝利は転がってきました。これは部活だけでなく、日常生活でも通用すると思います。目の前に自分の越えられないような試練が立ちはだかった際にも、まずは自分がやれることを徹底してやる。この心構えでいることで、どんなに苦境に陥ったときでもそこまで落ちることなく自分を保つことができているのではないかと思います。
⑤ゼミを通しての目標：
私の目標は二つあります。一つは、プレゼンテーション力を向上させることです。私は自分の気持ちや考えを言語化して相手に伝えることが苦手で、プレゼンテーションでは自分が伝えたいことを伝えられないまま終わってしまうことが多々あります。小西ゼミが持つ多くの発表の機会の中で、自身の全力を尽くすことによって、自身の考えの言語化能力とプレゼンテーション能力を向上させていきたいです。
二つ目は、常に視野を広く持つことです。私は物事を考える時に一つの方法や、一つの目線でしか捉えられないために、狭い視野で留まっていることが自身の短所であると考えています。常に多角的な視野を持てるように日々思考する習慣をつけたいと思います。小西ゼミではさまざまな興味を持つ仲間がいるので、多様な意見と触れ合うことで自身の視野を拡大させることができると思っています。
⑥将来の夢：私は将来、途上国の子どもたちに未来を与えてあげられるような人になりたいです。
この夢のきっかけは、中学生の頃、先生が給食の時間に口癖にしていた「アフリカに住む子どもたちはご飯が食べれていないのだから残さず食べなさい。」という言葉が自分自身の中に引っかかったことにあります。私は日本に生まれてきたという理由だけで、不自由なく暮らせる家庭で育つことができていますが、世界の貧困層の子どもたちは、生存・成長・教育を受ける権利を保障されない生活を強いられています。その現状を私は理解できません。どうしても自分自身の手でその子どもたちを救いたいと考えています。現在、教職課程で、中高の英語科の教員免許の取得を目指して勉強しております。また、国際バカロレア教員の免許も取得する予定です。その中で、途上国の子どもたちにはどのような教育が必要であるのか、どのような教育政策が有効であるのかを模索し、将来子どもたちが自分自身の手で未来を切り拓いていくような教育を提供したいです。

I’m Manaka Yamaguchi, a third-year student who is in charge of blogging at Konishi seminar.
Today, we continuingly introduce the third-year seminar students of this year.
① Name : Kohana Terada
② Hometown : Osaka prefecture
③ Hobbies ：Playing basketball and traveling
④ Motto : In any situation, do what you can. It is important to be through.
These are the words from my club teacher of a high school. Since I went to a public high school, there were many situations where I had to beat a strong private school. If I fight one-on-one, I have no chance of winning. These times, the teacher gave us this word. It teaches us that in order to win against the schools that practice for hours every day, it is important to do what we can do, rather than being afraid of seeing opponents. No matter how strong they are, we are not unable to do anything. By doing my best, the goddess of victory naturally smiled. I think this applies not only to club activities, but also to everyday life. Even when I face challenging situations that I cannot overcome, I will do my best to do what I can. With this mindset, I believe that I am able to maintain myself without falling too far, no matter how hard things get.
⑤ Goals through the seminar：
I have two goals. One is to improve presentation skills. I am not good at putting my feelings and thoughts into words to convey them to others. So I often end up not being able to convey what I want to. Therefore, I would like to improve my ability to verbalize my thoughts and presentation skills by doing my best in the many presentation opportunities in the seminar.
The other one is to always keep several perspectives. When I think something, I only see it in one way or from one point. I would like to make a habit of thinking every day, so that I can always have a multifaceted perspective. In the Konishi seminar, there are people with various interests, so I think that coming into contact with a variety of opinions will lead to broadening my horizons.
⑥ Dream in the future ：I want to become a person who can give a future to children in developing countries.
The reason for this dream was that when I was a junior high school student, my teacher used to say to me at school lunch, "Children living in Africa have nothing to eat, so eat everything." It becomes a trigger. Just because I was born in Japan, I have been able to grow up where I can live comfortably, but children of the world's poor are forced to live without guarantees of their right to survival, growth, and education. I do not inconvenience the current situation. That is why I want to save the children with my own hands. Currently, I am studying to obtain English teacher's licenses for junior and senior high school. I also plan to obtain an International Baccalaureate teaching license. In doing so, I explore what kind of education is necessary for children in developing countries and what kind of educational policy is effective, and in the future children will carve out their own future. I want to provide them with such an education.
In the next article, we will introduce Rin Sakaguchi, whose hobby is eating and likes music from WANIMA.
