小西ゼミ3回生の射場慶太です。
本日も前回に引き続き今年度の小西ゼミの3回生のメンバーを紹介させて頂きます。
①名前:山口菜々果
③趣味:写真を撮ること
④ゼミ活動を通しての目標:多角的に物事を見ることができるようになること。自分の意見や考えを効果的に伝えられるようになること。
⑤進級論文のテーマ:東南アジアの初等教育における教員養成について
私は高校生の頃から「貧困」について興味を持っていました。実際に途上国に行く機会はありませんでしたが、テレビCMや広告などでよく目にする世界中で貧困に苦しむ子どもたちの映像や写真を見て、「世界には私よりもっと幼い子どもが苦しんでいる」と知り、将来はそのような貧困に苦しむ子どもたちの役に立つような仕事がしたいと強く思いました。
大学入学後、１年生の夏休みにミャンマーのFWに参加したことが私の価値観・考え方を大きく変える経験となりました。FWでは農村部の幼稚園と小学校、都心部の幼稚園から大学まで授業分析を行い、生徒や先生へのインタビュー調査を実施しました。調査や分析を通して、農村部と都心部の大きな違い（施設の整備、塾、over age、教員の経歴）を知ることができましたが、中でも私が最も関心を持ったことは、「教員の指導について」です。農村部や都心部に関係なく教員中心の授業が行われ、生徒に注意が向けられていないという現実に強く衝撃を覚え、日本に帰った後も教員の質について深く知りたいと思うようになり、３年生の進級論文で教員養成に関する研究を実施しようと決意しました。
将来は途上国で教育開発に携わる仕事について、多角的な視点から政策提言ができる人材になりたいと考えています。そのために、現在は様々なトピック（難民、国際関係、プロジェクトマネジメント、環境、外交）を学んでおり、多様な立場からの教育へのアプローチについて考えています。また、ゼミ活動を通して相手に自分の考えや意見を簡潔にわかりやすく伝えることや、多様なバックグラウンドを持つメンバーと一緒に一つのものを作り上げることの重要性を学びたいと思っています。
ゼミの素敵な先生と多様な個性を持つメンバーと一緒にこれから２年間を共に過ごすことができるのを楽しみにしています。

My name is Keita Iba, a 3rd grade in Konishi seminar.
Today, I would like to introduce members of 3rd grade of this year in Konishi seminar.
①Name: Nanaka Yamaguchi
②Birthplace: Himeji city, Hyogo prefecture
③Hobby: Taking pictures
④Goals in this seminar: I will try to take things from various points of view. I want to tell my opinions effectively and more logical.
⑤Research topic: Teacher Training of Primary Education in South-East Asia
Since I was in high school, I’ve been interested in “poverty”. Although I had not visited developing countries when I was a high school student, I learned “A lot of children younger than me are suffering from poverty” from some advertisements on TV or internet. Therefore, I strongly thought I want to work for children suffer from poverty.
After entering the university, I participated in field work in Myanmar when I was in first year. This experience changed my opinion and value a lot. In this FW, I analyzed classes of kindergarten and primary school in rural area and from kindergarten to university in urban area and interviewed to teachers and students. Through this analyzing and research, I knew large differences between rural and urban area, for example, facilities, cram school, students’ ages, and teachers’ career. However, I was most interested in the “way of teaching”. I was surprised the situation that almost all classes were not focused on students. This means teachers did not pay attention to their students. Therefore, I decided to research about teacher training system through my dissertation.
Through this experience, I want to work educational development field and suggest policies from different perspective in the future. To achieve my dream, I learn various topics such as refugees, international relationship, project management, environment and diplomacy, so I can think approaching to “education” from many positions. In addition, I would like to learn the importance of telling my opinions effectively and logically and diversity through this seminar.
I am looking forward to spending 2 years with great teacher and friends who have different backgrounds.
