今回は、私がお勧めする２つの動画を紹介させていただきます。 皆さまは、YouTubeなどの動画共有サイトをご覧になりますでしょうか。動画共有サイトでは、MV(music video)やスポーツ観戦以外に、数多くの動画が配信されています。例えば、企業や地方自治体のPR動画やイメージ動画、日々のニュースやドキュメンタリー作品などです。その中でも、物事の裏側を記録した動画を紹介致します。 MoMA この動画では、普段見ることが出来ない美術館の裏側を見ることができます。 ニューヨークにある近代美術館MoMA(The Museum of Modern Art)は、YouTubeでアート作品の見方やアート作品の手法を紹介しています。 その他にも、展示を行っている様子や修復作業の様子をも公開しています。そこでは、MoMAの職員が額縁の種類や壁の色、作品の配置を綿密に考えて展示している様子を見ることができます。展示方法を知ることで、いつもと違う視点でアート作品を鑑賞することができるかもしれません。 YouTube.The Museum of Modern Art https://www.youtube.com/user/MoMAvideos VICE この動画では、マスメディアで取り上げられない内容のドキュメンタリーを見ることができます。 ウェブメディアであるVICEは、ファッションや文化芸術だけでなく、政治や犯罪といったタブーをも題材としています。 YouTubeでは、VICEが制作したドキュメンタリー動画を見ることが出来ます。例えば、海中にあるプラスティックゴミや沖縄漁師の害虫駆除、北朝鮮労働者の実態などです。テレビや新聞では知りえない内容を視覚から知ることが出来ます。 YouTube.VICE https://www.youtube.com/user/vice
