小西ゼミ4回生の日野上 楓と申します。
早いもので、学生生活も残りわずかとなりました。今回は、4年間の大学生活を通して学んだ事について記そうと思います。
突然ですが、皆さんには大切にしている価値観や座右の銘はありますか？
“When you’re depressed, it always helps to lean your head on your arm. Arms like to feel useful（気が滅入っているときはときは ほおづえをつくといい。腕は役に立つのがうれしいんだ。）.”漫画PEANUTSの主人公、チャーリーブラウンが残した名言、これが私が大学生活で学んだ事であり、座右の銘です。
1人で抱え込んでしまう性格の私に、頼ってもいい事を思い出させてくれます。
私自身、4年間の大学生活を通して国連外交プログラムの副専攻、教職課程、外部の国際交流系サークルなど「3足の草鞋生活」と名付け、失敗を恐れる事なく挑戦をしてきました。
このような多忙な大学生活を送る中で、特に初めの2年間はコロナ禍という事もあり、人に頼る事が苦手だった私は1人で思い詰める事も少なくありませんでした。しかし、ゼミ活動をはじめとする尊敬できる仲間に出会った事で、チームの一員として仲間に頼る事、素直に言葉にする事の重要性を学びました。
4月からは新しい環境になりますが、1人で抱え込む事なく、素直な心を持ち、助言を求めたり反対に支える事ができる環境を作る事ができる人に近づけるよう努力します。
私、それからこのブログをご覧いただいている皆様がこの先思い悩んだ時、チャーリーブラウンの名言を思い出してみてください。

My name is Kaede Hinogami, a 4th year student in Konishi Seminar.
As time flies by, I have only a few days left in my student life. This time, I would like to write about what I have learned through my four years of university life.
Suddenly, do you have any values or mottoes that you hold dear?
"When you're depressed, it always helps to lean your head on your arm. Arms like to feel useful, This is a quote left by Charlie Brown, the main character of the cartoon PEANUTS, and it is my motto and what I learned during my college life.
It reminds me that it is okay to rely on others, even though I tend to keep things to myself.
I have been "living on three legs" throughout my four years of college, including a minor in the United Nations Diplomacy Program, teaching, and participating in international exchange clubs outside the university.
In the midst of such a busy university life, especially in the first two years, I often felt alone because of the COVID-19 disaster and because I was not good at relying on others. However, I learned the importance of relying on others as a member of a team and of honestly expressing myself through seminar activities and other encounters with respected colleagues.
From April, I will be in a new environment, but I will strive to be a person who can create an environment where I can ask for advice or support without being alone.
I hope that I, and all of you who read this blog, will remember Charlie Brown's words of wisdom when you are troubled in the future.
Finally, I would like to thank Ms. Konishi and all the other teachers and colleagues who have enriched my university life with learning.
