小西ゼミ3回の宮本美華子です。
本日も前回に引き続き小西ゼミの3回生のメンバーを紹介させて頂きます。
①名前：魚谷峻平
②出身：大阪
③趣味：自然との触れ合い
④ゼミ活動を通しての目標：自分とゼミ生とがお互いに高めあうことができる環境を作っていくこと
⑤進級論文のテーマ：多文化共生社会構築のための「多文化教育」の在り方とは何か
本パートでは、私が去年参加したGlobal Career Seminar in Canadaについて執筆させていただきたいと思います。このセミナーは、関学のCIECが提供している日加大学協働・世界市民リーダーズ育成プログラム（CCC）の科目の一つであり、秋学期を通して実施される事前講義を受講した後、5日間という短期間でカナダの大学に通う学生と共に企業が実際に抱える課題の解決案を立案し、セミナー最終日には企業に向けてプレゼンを行うと言うような授業となっています。
この授業の最大の特徴は、なんといっても「海外の他大学」の学生と「英語」を使って議論を重ね、解決案を練り上げることです。当時はそのような経験をしたことがなく大きな不安に包まれていましたが、グループのメンバー達の優しさのおかげで良好なチームワークを構築することができ、最終的にはグループメンバー全員が納得のいく解決案を立案し、提案することができました。無事セミナーは終了し、オンラインであるにもかかわらず彼らとの仲も深まりましたが、それに加えて本セミナーで私は多くのことを学びました。特に、「英語で議論を行った経験」、「オンライン上で実施した経験」の二つの経験は私にとって大きなものでした。
「英語で議論を行った経験」は、自分の英語力を再認識する機会であったとともに、課題解決のプロセスや議論での表現、議論の進め方など多くのことを学ぶ機会となりました。
また、「オンライン上で実施した経験」は、時差による時間的制約やZoomでもコミュニケーションなど、今後の社会では当たり前になると思われる環境に適応する練習にもなり、今後のキャリア形成に大いに活きる経験となりました。

My name is Mikako Miyamoto, a 3rd grade in Konishi seminar.
Today, I would like to introduce members of 3rd grade of this year in Konishi seminar.

②Birthplace： Osaka
③Hobby： Spend time in nature
④Goals in this seminar： Creating a environment where I and members of this seminar can enhance each other
⑤Research topic： What is “multicultural education” for building multicultural symbiosis societies
I will explain Global Career Seminar in Canada I participated in last year. This seminar is one of the courses of Canada-Japan Collaborative Program for Educating World Citizens as Future Leaders (CCC). Students who take this course should take online pre-lectures through Fall semester, and after that they should make a solution of problems an enterprise has and finally make a presentation of it with students from universities in Canada in five days.
The biggest feature of this course is to discuss and make a solution with students from “foreign universities” in “English”. Because I did not experience such a discussion, I was very nervous before it started. However, thanks to group member’s kindness, we were able to build a good teamwork and finally we made a solution and did a presentation all of them were satisfied with.
I was able not only to build a good teamwork in spite of online seminar, but also to learn many things. In particular, two experience, “discussing in English” and “participating in the seminar online” were bigger than any other experiences.
The experience of “discussing in English” was an opportunity for me to realize my English level and to learn many things such as problem solving process or how to proceed with a discussion in English.
In addition, the experience of “participating in the seminar online” was an opportunity to practice adapting the environment where it will be common to communicate through Zoom or have time constraint due to time difference online in the future.
In short, it becomes the great experience that will be useful for my future career development.
