小西ゼミ3回生の射場慶太です。
本日も前回に引き続き今年度の小西ゼミの3回生のメンバーを紹介させて頂きます。 ①名前： 小林嶺旺
②出身： 大阪
③趣味： 吹奏楽と気ままな一人旅
④ゼミ活動を通しての目標： ゼミ活動において今までやってこなかったような新しいことにどんどん挑戦していきたいと思っています！
⑤進級論文のテーマ： 食品ロス
私は入学当初から「2年生になったら海外での活動をこれでもかってぐらいやったろ！」とワクワクしながら一年間貯金と学業に励みましたが、コロナの影響で夢は破られました。そこでオンライン企画であった「ベトナム異文化体験セミナー」に参加してオンラインではあるもののベトナム人とコミュニケーションをとり、一緒にグループワークを行う企画に参加しました。ベトナム人の国民性として「楽観的だけどすごく真面目」と活動前に知らされていたのですが、これまで日本を一度しか出たことがなかった自分からしたら、正直「国民性なんかただの迷信やろ」と考えていました。しかし実際にベトナム人と日本人の混合グループで作戦会議を行っていると、まだ全然今日決めておかないといけないことが達成されていないのに「今日はここまでにしますか？」といわれたり、当たり前な感じに遅刻してきたりなど、かなりラフな感じでなかなか歯車が合わず苦戦をしたのですが、いざ作業を割り振り、ベトナム人学生には現地の人にアンケートをなるべくたくさん取って情報収集してほしいと依頼すると、自分が思っていた以上の数をアンケートしてくれていて、学校の友達や教授まで巻き込んで調査してくれたことを知ってとても驚きました。一人ひとりに個性の違いがあるものの、生まれ育った環境や文化がある一定の共通した性格を形成しているのかと、授業ではよく聞く内容でしたが当時改めてそれを感じさせられました。この経験は自分の数少ない異文化経験であったためにとても興味深いものであったと感じていて、自分が思っていた以上に世界にはいろんな人がいるんだなと知りました。これからいろんな人と何かに取り組む機会が必ず増えると思うので、大学の授業やプログラムを通して自身のキャパシティをどんどん広げて、どんな人とも上手に関係を築ける社会人になりたいなと感じさせられた経験だったなと思います。

④Goals in this seminar：Through the seminar activities, I want to challenge a lot of things that I have not done.
⑤Research topic： Food loss problem
When I enter the university, I hope that “I will do a lot of activities at the overseas!” However, this dream was broken because of the covid-19. Therefore, I participated the “Cross-cultural experience seminar in Vietnam.” This project was held in the online, so I contacted with Vietnam students through the internet. Before the project, we had told that “Vietnamese are Optimistic but serious.” Because of the less my experiences in abroad, I thought “National character is just a superstition.” However, when we started the meeting, they told that “Would you like to finish today?” Even though we haven't decided what we have to decide today. In addition, they are naturally late. Because of this attitude, we had hard times. On the other hand, when I ask to gather the information through the interview to local people, They have gathered more information than I expected. Surprisingly, they had interviewed to a lot of their university students and professors. Through the experience, I learned that “Even if each person has a different personality, the environment and culture form a certain common personality.” Even I have few experiences at the overseas, this experience was very impressive. This experience told me that there are a lot of people around the world. Perhaps, I have to communicate with a lot of people who has different culture, so I want to expand my capacity through the studying and some programs in the university, and I want to be a person who can build the good relationship between a lot of people around the world.
