今回、オンライン交換留学について執筆させていただきたいと思います。
現在、私はオーストラリアのニューサウスウェールズ大学でオンライン留学に参加しております。
ニューサウスウェールズ大学は様々な国々から留学生を積極的に受け入れており、現地の学生又様々な国々の学生と触れ合えているため、オンラインにも関わらず、自身は大変充実した留学生活を送ることが出来ています。
自身がオンライン交換留学に参加する理由は主に二つあります。
一つ目は「英語を更に向上させる事」です。
具体的には日常会話レベルの英語だけでなく、アカデミックのレベルの英語でも難なく使用できるようになることで国際的に活躍できる人材になることを目指しています。
本大学での英語を主言語とした講義を通して、自身は学問の分野を英語で学ぶ又討論するために必要な英語力に達していないと感じました。特に英語で討論をする際に日本語のように自身の意見を十分に相手に主張できないため、議論を深めることに十分に貢献出来ていないと感じました。
そのため、オンライン交換留学を通して、様々な国々の学生たちと積極的に学び、議論することで英語でも専門的な分野を十分に理解し、議論を深められる人材になりたいと考えます。
二つ目は「オンライン留学を経験したいから」です。
コロナ渦により、世界中で様々な活動がオンラインで行われているため、コロナ以前に対面で行っていたことをオンラインでも行える必要があります。
オンライン留学はコロナ期間でしか経験できないと考えており、この環境下でも意義深い留学生活を送ることで、自身の自己管理能力にも大きな自信を持つことが出来ると考えます。
今後オンライン留学を通して、アカデミックレベルで英語を使用する難しさ又異なる文化の価値観を持つ生徒たちとの意見交換の楽しさを体感することができました。今回のオンライン留学を終えた後も対面での交換留学にも参加する事を試み,対面とオンラインでの留学経験を得たいと思います。

About Online exchange program
Hello, everyone. My name is Yuki Murakami.
I will write about the online exchange program.
Currently, I am participating the online exchange program of University of New South Wales(UNSW).
UNSW is accepting the international student from diverse countries. It makes easy for me to get in touch with international students. That is why, I could have a substantial study abroad experience despite of online.
There are two main reasons to participate the online exchange program.
Firstly, further improvement of English.
To be more specific, I am aiming to be person who can work in international stage by being able to use Academic English in addition to everyday conversation.
Through the university lecture that uses English as main language, I thought that my English skill is insufficient to comprehend and discuss about academic things in English. In particular, my contribution to English discussion is insufficient due to the lacking of ability to insist my opinions in English.
Thus, I would like to become the person who can comprehend the academic content and deepen the discussion with international people in English through online exchange program.
Secondly, 「Experience online exchange program」
Due to the expand of corona pandemic, diverse activities is held through online in the world. It will be significant to be able to do everything that have been done face to face before corona pandemic in online.
Online exchange program is precious experience that can be gained during the period of corona pandemic. If I success with having significance studying abroad, I could be confident with self-management.
Going forward
Through online exchange program, I experience the difficulty of using English in Academic stage and joy of exchanging opinions with students who have different cultural value. After participating online exchange program, I will attempt to participate face to face exchange program and gain experience of online and face to face exchange program.
